About Learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL)

Learning to communicate in English is an increasingly important skill in our interconnected world. Practicing with a private tutor who knows how to teach the fundamentals of the language, including pronunciation with American Accent, grammar, and spelling is the most effective use of the student's money. We will assess the student’s current level at English spelling and grammar and knowledge of the phonetic structure of the language and create a customized lesson plan based on the student’s needs and goals.

Lessons may include the following:

• multisensory phonics practice and American accent training using the Orton-Gillingham method
• learning specific grammar rules and reinforcing them with worksheets for practice
• learning American English spelling rules and reinforcing with multisensory practice
• American English conversation practice
