- Accepted to Georgia State University Behavior and Learning Disabilities Certificate program, expected completion in 2013
- Earned Certification in Orton-Gillingham, including 75 hour practicum, from the Wisconsin Institute for Learning in 2008
- Outstanding Volunteer Tutor Award, Urban League of Greater Madison, 2008
- Master’s Social Work degree with 4.0 GPA, University of Wisconsin-Madison, 2007
- President of three student organizations and led student diversity initiatives for the School of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison
- Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison, on Dean’s List 3 semesters
- Scored 640 on the GRE Verbal (90th percentile) in 2005
- Scored 32 composite (99th percentile) on the ACT in 1997
- Skipped 1st grade and graduated high school in three years at age 15
